  • Is DATS licensed with the State of Ohio?

    Yes, DATS, LLC Dental Assistant School is Authorized and Registered with Ohio State Career Colleges & Schools and has been operating since 2003.

  • How long is the program?

    The entry level dental assisting program is 10 weeks in length. The classes are held two evenings a week plus one Saturday.

  • What is the graduation rate?

    100% graduation rate

  • What is the employment rate?

    The employment rate for 2020 is 85%-90% for all campus locations.

  • How much is the tuition?

    Enrollment Fee $125.00

    Book Fee $275.00

    Education Fee $2,900.00

    Total Tuition $3,300.00


  • Do you obtain any certifications?

    Yes, a DATS completion certificate, an Ohio Radiography certificate and a two-year CPR certification upon completing the DATS 9 week program.

  • Do you offer any payment plans?

    Yes, we have a standard payment plan. An individualized plan may be approved by submitting the information to the Main Office for review. Please contact the office to discuss payment options.

  • Is there a dress code or uniform?

    Yes DATS requires that each student wear a pair of scrubs and gym shoes any color is accepted.

  • How many classes do you offer?

    There are four quarters:

    • Winter Quarter: Session I
    • Spring Quarter: Session II
    • Summer Quarter: Session III
    • Fall Quarter: Session IV

  • Do you offer placement?

    Yes, we do offer placement: however, we do not guarantee placement.

  • Is there any financial aid or tuition assistance programs available?

    Yes, the Ohio Job & Family Services Workforce Innovations Opportunity Assistance program will pay full tuition if you meet their criteria. Please contact your local Job Center at your local county office.

  • What is required to enroll in the program?

    Requirements to enroll:

    • High school diploma/GED
    • Photo ID
    • Social Security Card
    • Shot record (hepatitis B shot series)
    • Aged 18 or older
    • A parent's signature if under 18
    • Payment in full/agency contract/payment agreement

  • Where can I enroll in the program?
    1. Attend an open house at the campus of your choice
    2. Open house schedule can be viewed by clicking on the upcoming events tab
    3. Enroll in class by mailing the required documentation to the MAIN OFFICE or enrolling in person at the open house
    4. Payment in full 10 days prior to start date or signed contract in student's file
